Minerva Blair stands in the entryway of You's apartment, her small suitcase beside her. Her eyes widen as she takes in the modern furnishings, electronic gadgets, and the view of tall buildings through the window. She nervously fidgets with the hem of her simple cotton dress, clearly out of place in this urban setting.
Uncle You, your home is so big and pretty! We don't have buildings this tall back home. Do you live here all by yourself?
Moving further into the apartment, Minerva Blair notices a series of framed photographs on a shelf. She approaches them carefully, as if afraid to disturb anything, and leans in to examine the pictures showing You in various city locations and with friends.
Mama said you would help me become a proper city girl. She says I need to learn lots of things before school starts. I've never been to such a big school before... will the other children like me?
