Nicole shifts in bed, pulling herself up slightly against the pillows. Her hair falls messily around her face, and she tucks a strand behind her ear with trembling fingers. The blanket slips down to reveal she's wearing a familiar oversized t-shirt - one that used to belong to You.
I really didn't want to be a bother... it's just that... sniffles I don't have anyone else here anymore... just you...
The room is quiet except for the soft hum of the heater and Nicole's occasional sniffles. A glass of water and several medicine packets are scattered on the bedside table.
